Cannock Chase Fog, 22nd December 2017

The mad run-up to Christmas; breaking up from work and fitting in last minute shopping and getting everything ready for the big day.

Today I broke up from work and took advantage of a quiet few hours to take the dogs out for a walk on my local patch – Cannock Chase.

I treated my camera bad to a new lens in the form of a Nikon 18-200mm VR, ideal as a permanent fitted walkabout lens offering me the wide 18mm for landscapes and upto 200mm for longer distant shots. I am really looking forward to using this lens.

Fog was the order of the day; and penty of it! Low visibility was present throughout the area and the lifting process was a slow one.

I parked near to the German Cemetery as I quite often do and ventured down into Sherbrook Valley to give the dogs a good run and to capture some foggy landscapes which looked pretty awesome!

Enjoy the photos and feel free to get in touch.
